This week we have been starting a task about the olympics called the olympic booklet.Its basically about 30 pages of fun surprises squashed up in thirty pages of pain (come to think of it, saying it like makes it sound like a bad thing, even though its fun)
At first we had no idea about it until some of us saw it on the checkoff so like most people we went to ask about it and like a lot of answers it was we will talk about it after lunch and yeah I don't have very much to say about it.
hi my name is louie and last night at school we had ltp it means learning through play.
anyway i started off by grabbing a rubber frisbee and joining in with troys game, basically he had this wall that you ran at and jumped of it and threw your frisbee through a tier and in a bucket in mid air and then land on the platform I got it most of the time sometimes i didn't though.
next i went and played on the field with felix, it was like a scoring game, in short we found a mow line, made it a marker to stand at and throw the frisbee into the soccer goal, the person in the goal had to stp it from hitting the net if it hit the net the scorer and the goal keeper swap over.
On wednesday i went to my early level three group, i learnt the most amazing trick for times tables for example 7x6, you would your hands out in front of you, put down your seventh finger down and look to the right and count them,you should have six fingers on the right and three on the left so its sixtythree!?!
I think camp was sick my favourite part was panekiri bluff walk camp camp is something wainui school does for the year 6 students.

here is your view from the top of the bluff.
I grab my bag and line up with every one else. I look behind me to find none the less but the other classes from my syndicate we stand up and start to walk towards the court, it's hot outside I feel like I am on a motor bike going though the worlds longest ring of fire in slow-mo. I couldn't sit down properly so I just squatted down at the back of the line, I felt a bit embarrassed not being like everyone else sitting down folded legs and arms I look at the teachers it seems like they have all looked at me once with Koka Ngaire's grumpy cat stare.Finally we all stand up and I feel a little bit less alien like, once again juniors go first in line. we start walking out the gate and then on the crossing I decide to go at the back with koka ngaire since I have a cast on.Once we were further into the walk I couldn't help but notice that people are starting to get a bit silly and pushy in the line but I decided to just carry on with things.
Finally at the front of the line I can see the juniors turning to walk on the beach it looks like a line of rally cars drifting onto another road I ask koka ngaire are they walking on the beach I don't think she heard me but I infer that that is what they are doing. since I have a cast I can't go onto the beach so we go over the bridge, next to us we see concrete workers making a new under pass next to the trees and bridge, we keep on walking up and over the bridge under we see the very brown but glossy and shiny surface of hamanatua It seems like I am looking at a big screen at the wrong angle so i'm getting all of the glare in my eyes.I look down and see the ripples it reminds of the group of friends that gather rocks and stoney pebbles only to drop them into the river of Hamanatua, a massive logging truck goes by it seems to be the size of a navy ship it almost scared me.
Now we are started to head down the slope and into the front section of the wainui surf club I was nearly allowed to go on the lifeguard tower but then she saw the seats under-neath and asked if I could get down there I said yes but in truth i did want to go up top any way I sat down with out any disturbance for about five minutes wait make that one minute when I was invaded by girls.I was watching my friends hoping that one of them would save me like they said ( I was literally told by my best friend that he should meet me and he didn't he looked waved and kept going) finally my friend oscar joe came to talk with me for a while i was a bit annoyed with the fact that it was only game talk but at that stage I was desperate for even my brother and I had never wanted him that bad.
we head up to eat and then head off.
